Your decision to have an abortion is a personal one. It may have been difficult for you to make this decision, or you may still be in the process of deciding.
Any decision can be based on what's happening in your life now and what you want for yourself in the future.
You are probably trying to do the best you can with what you've got right now.
You have your reasons. These reasons may not be the same as someone else's reasons, but they are yours and that is what counts.
In choosing to have an abortion, different feelings may come up for you - fear, grief, frustration, helplessness, relief. It is important to talk about your feelings with someone you trust, someone who cares about you, who will not judge or criticise you.
Give yourself time to know your feelings and accept them.
At Nanyara we will do all we can to make your stay as comfortable and stress free as possible.
You will be treated with dignity, compassion and the respect you deserve.
Your care is delivered by a group of dedicated proffessionals in a safe and therapeutic environment.
You will be seen by a Nurse with whom you are welcome to discuss any issues.
We acknowledge that the decision to have an abortion is frequently mabe by a woman herself or with her own support system.
However, should the need arise, we have access to counselling agencies to assist you in making the choice to either continue or terminate your pregnancy when you first arrive here.
